Data protection

The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We will treat your personal data as confidential and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this data protection statement.

It is generally possible to use the website without providing personal details. If personal data (such as name, address or email addresses) is collected on our website, this will, where possible, take place on a voluntary basis. Such data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.

We would point out that security vulnerabilities may be associated with the online transmission of data (for example via email). It is not possible to fully protect data from access by third parties.

Cookies

Websites sometimes use what are known as cookies. Cookies cause no harm to your computer and do not contain viruses. They serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files, which are downloaded to your computer and which your browser stores.

Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies”. They are deleted automatically when you exit the website. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser next time you visit the website.

You can set your browser so that you are notified when cookies are set, and only allow cookies once, block cookies in certain cases or block them entirely, and you can also activate a setting that automatic deletes cookies when you close your browser. If you deactivate cookies, this may limit the functionality of this website.

Server log files

The website provider collects and stores information automatically in server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:

    browser type and browser version

    operating system used

    referrer URL

host name of the accessing computer

    time of the server request

These data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. These data are not combined with data from other data sources. We reserve the right to check these data subsequently if we become aware of specific indications of unlawful use.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries using the contact form, we will store your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you have given on the form, in order to process your inquiry and to use in subsequent inquiries. We will not pass on your data without your consent.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions from the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses cookies; these are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie in relation to the use of this website is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored.

IP anonymisation

We have activated the function IP anonymisation on this website. This means that Google abbreviates your IP address within the Member States of the European Union or in other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Google will use this information, on behalf of the operator of this website, to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide other services to the website operator in connection with use of the website and the Internet. Google will not consolidate with other data the IP address transmitted from your browser in connection with Google Analytics.

Browser plugin

You may block the storage of cookies by changing the settings of your browser software; however, we would point out that if you do so, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You may also prevent the data generated by the cookie in relation to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being sent to Google and processed by it, by downloading and installing the browser plugin that is available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Oppose data collection

You may prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which will prevent collection of your data when you next visit this website. Deactivate Google Analytics

You will find more information on how user data is handled at Google Analytics in Google's Data Protection statement: support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245

Order data processing

We have concluded an order data processing contract with Google, and implement fully the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities during our use of Google Analytics.

Demographics at Google Analytics

This website uses the Google Analytics function “Demographics” function. This allows the creation of reports that contain statements relating to the age, gender and interests of visitors to the website. These data originate from Google’s interests-related advertising and from user data from third parties. These data cannot be attributed to any specific individual. You can deactivate this function at any time through the display settings in your Google account, or you may entirely prohibit Google Analytics from collecting your data, as described under “Oppose data collection”.

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the website YouTube, which is operated by Google. The website operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our websites that includes a YouTube plugin, a link to the YouTube servers will be generated. The YouTube server will be notified which of our websites you have visited.

If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube will enable you to associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

You will find more information about handling user data in the YouTube data protection statement at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy
